AND THEN I WAS ATTACKED....instead of helping me Tyese kindly documented my encounter with a ice cream driven monkey.
First, monkey trapped me on stairs....
Then, monkey wouldn't break eye contact with me, as he walked towards me honestly I could only imagine him jumping on my face and biting me...and then i would get rabies and die (would there be any other option of an outcome? hehe)
However, I love ice cream too...I was going to put up a fight for this luxury of ice cream, so staring back at him I stuffed the rest of the scoop of ice cream in my mouth.
As if he had just realized what I had done (ate the majority of the ice cream in one fatal bite, leaving hardly any for him) he decided to jump at me and wrap his little diseased monkey hands around my ankle!!!
SO after screaming, I threw the rest of my cone at him...
and he ran away with it...yep, a monkey just stole my ice cream. unbelievable.

We leave for trekking to Everest Base camp tomorrow morning at 6:30...and no internet along the way, so a month without posting on the blog. Hopefully there will be giant mountains, blue sky's, and safe travels!
You have been so busy with your new camera!...Great pictures to capture your experiences. And by the way...i thought i liked monkeys too until living with them and i have to say...they are lil nasty!
ReplyDeleteOH NOW THIS IS FUNNY!!! LOL! What happened to all your E-clinic animal restraint tactics?!?! You should have had him scruffed, muzzled and hog tied to a pole while you were hapily licking your ice cream cone! hehehe! Well thank goodness for no rabies! I hope you have a great trek to Everest! Thinking of you always!..ok well mostly on Tuesdays and Thursdays... J/K!! Love ya lady!
