Its a unfamiliar feeling to have "extra" time on my hands. I suppose that is the result of not working forty hours a week or having to study for collage. Needless to say, I am enjoying every single minute of it (who wouldn't really?). No matter the time of day...or night, there is always something 'happening' in the town. We ventured to the art museum at the university here on of our first days here, Chang Mai has impressed my with there artsy paintings, sculptures, screen printing, and vintage clothing.
This city holds the largest Sunday market I have ever been to, and by far the coolest. It took us well over two hours to just make it down ONE street of this weekly festival. Amazing food, handmade clothing, soaps, essential oils, wooden ware, music, colorful fabrics, oh i could go on...
Our finds of the night...
From now on I get to drink my french press out of a trendy espresso cup hand carved from mango wood.
Hidden Wonders
A group of us headed out of town for a quick swim before meeting on Sunday...hopefully this swimming hole will get a weekly visit by us. The Catch: the only way to get in the water is to jump.
Some choose higher cliffs than others, personally I gravitate towards the smaller ones, but regardless of how many feet we fell, we all enjoyed a refreshing swim as a reward.

However, I am very please with our breakfast options here
Today was a busy one. After moving into our apartment yesterday we had a few items that we needed to get from the store. My mom use to tell me I had a odd talent of being able to carry an unusual amount of grocery bags on my arms from the car to the house. That talent has come into handy, its just now, I get to do it the whole way home, while on a scooter...
A fan, a hot plate, a pot, 3 bowls, a bucket, dish soap, laundry detergent, bug spray, some grocery's, a volleyball, 2 badminton rackets, towels...and a few other small things, we've got this! haha
Can I just say again how amazing the local fresh food markets are here?! It makes me so happy to fill our basket up with delicious goodies to snack on.

I would be in heaven with your markets. Awesome swimming hole too. Hope I get to see that area when we visit, don't know exact itinerary yet.
