I feel like a good portion of my life I have spent walking into a classroom...sometimes because I "had to" and other times to broaden my horizon, regardless, I was always the one behind the desk. This time is different, being infront of the class is a whole different ball game...trying to impart some kind of knowledge to the students that are not so eager to learn.
Last week was my first of teaching English to a Thai kindergarten class. About 30 kids ranging in ages from three to six.
How would I describe this hour of my daily life? Chaos, Insanity, Laughable, Silly....Just plane crazy.
Last week we went over the items of the house, floor, wall, ceiling, door, window. They really like to yell the answers at the top of there lungs, it echos quite nicely of the tile floors and concrete walls of the room we're in.
| Meet "Idea", if he were a character he would be curious George. Sometimes he chooses not to speak, other times he talks my ear off, Friday he jumped on my back...yep out of control. |
| Faces as Cute as these is why my class is out of control, I mean really, how could you say 'no' to that? |
