I Love Pai

Pai.
Its like the "Bend" of Thailand. I love it. I dont think a person could not love it. A town snuggled in the green hills of thailand with streets that are lit up by paper lanterns, trendy stores, artsy night markets, yummy coffee shops, waterfalls, hot springs, the best chai tea I have ever tasted, hot days and cool nights, organic farms, and extremely extensive caving system, and foreigners...everywhere!

We scootered 4 hours up and down hills and countless hairpin turns to end up in this lovely town for a mini weekend vacation/adventure...

The so called "mini" grand canyon of Thailand... ok, it wasn't really anything like the grand canyon, but it but it was still a gorgeous view of the land.

Can you spell Pai??

Pai is also full of wonderful hidden waterfalls, with perfect swimming holes...

ALSO: there were some of the most lovely tea and coffee shops I have seen since I have left the states... "The Art of Chai" officially houses the best chai tea I have ever tasted. The owner-originally from Sweden, believes that unlike any other type of tea, when chai is made fresh to order (as it should be) no two cups are ever the same, making every cup a work of art. At night it cooled down just enough enjoyably plop down to sip on a hot cup of chai and a decadent slice of mango pie.

Funny things around the town:

First: Buffalo exchange in the hills of Thailand,  haha, I thought that was just a west coast states thing...plagiarism anyone??

Second: The amount of things around town you could stick your head through to take pictures, this has never amused me so much before, but for some reason we couldn't pass them by.

Why is it that seeing waterfalls never gets old?

Tyler and Becky

These fuzzy little creatures are everywhere. Their so cute I want to pet them, but their fuzzes are actually poisonous...they almost trick me every time

 Caves!!

Seriously, the most caves I have ever seen... possibilities are endless, you could have new underground adventures for weeks!!
I felt as if I was in the Goonies movie...

Walking to army crawling, stalactites, stalagmites, bats, spiders, and yes, even GIANT snakes... yikes!
